The 360Works FTPeek plugin is a FileMaker plugin
that can upload, download, and manipulate remote files on an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server
from within any FileMaker solution.
Universal Binary cross-platform support: FTPeek runs at full native speed on Windows and Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard) on PPC and Intel. FileMaker 7 or later is required. Installation and configuration is the same on Windows and Mac, and you don't need to worry about buying separate Mac and Windows versions - the same license key works on all platforms.
Runs on your FileMaker Server: You can automate nightly FTP batch transfers with the scheduled script
triggering feature of FileMaker Server 9. No more 'robot' machines to maintain! It will also work in the Web
Publishing Engine, allowing you to embed FTP scripts straight into your FileMaker web solution with Instant
Web
Publishing (IWP) or Custom Web Publishing. These features require an Enterprise License.
Security: Public key encryption is included with support for FTP over SSL (FTPS) and FTP over SSH (SFTP). Using encrypted FTP is as easy as switching one plugin function. In addition, you can access the public key of your FTP server to protect yourself from DNS spoofing attacks.
Transfer directly to/from FileMaker fields: Need to upload a Word document stored in your FileMaker solution, or upload HTML from a text field? Don't worry about writing it to a temporary directory - you can FTP directly from text and container fields to the FTP server. The same goes for downloads. Of course, this also works with documents and images stored with 360Works SuperContainer.
Includes a built-in FTP user interface: If you want your users to have full FTP access to the server, there's no need to build those layouts or run an external application - a full-featured, 100% FileMaker FTP solution is included with the plugin.
Help is included! Every Workgroup and Enterprise license purchase includes one hour of support time from 360Works. You can actually get the developer of the plugin on a phone call or remote access session to help you integrate FTPeek into your solution.
Pricing for FTPeek starts at $195 for a 10-user workgroup license - less than $20 per user!

Will it run on Windows/Mac? What version of FileMaker is required?
Yes, all of our plugins are designed to run on Mac OS X (PowerPC and Intel) as well as on Windows.
We never charge for switching / cross-grading, because the plugin package that we give you includes both Windows and Mac versions, and the same license keys work on both. One less thing to worry about!
Our plugins take advantage of the
new plugin features of version 7,
such as attaching styles to text. In addition, the Mac versions of all of our plugins ship as
universal binaries, and will run wonderfully on the new Intel Macs.

FileMaker Server Advanced 8.0v4: Unfortunately, a bug in FileMaker Server Advanced 8.0v4 disables all plugins in the Web Publishing Engine on OS X. This affects all plugins, not just ones from 360Works. FileMaker, Inc. is aware of this bug.
Rosetta: Rosetta is not supported. If you are running FileMaker 8 on an Intel Macintosh, we strongly recommend upgrading to FileMaker 8.5 or later; the speed and stability improvements are very significant.
What about Web Publishing and FileMaker Server?
If you purchase the Enterprise License (see below), then you will be able to use the plugin with the FileMaker Web Publishing Engine. This means that when you use our plugins in your FileMaker scripts, they will work the same way with Instant Web Publishing (IWP). It also means that your Custom Web Publishing applications (with XSLT, PHP, or any other web technology) can call FileMaker scripts that use our plugins.
If you're using FileMaker Server 9, our plugins are compatible with the new FileMaker Server 9 scheduled script feature.
Can I use this plugin with my FileMaker runtime solution?
Yes, all of our plugins work in FileMaker runtimes solutions, just copy the plugin to the runtime's Extensions folder.
What kind of licenses are there?
Most of our plugins are available in 3 licenses: a Demo version which works for 2 hours every time you launch FileMaker, a "WorkGroup License" for 10 or fewer users, and an "Enterprise License" for unlimited users within a single organization.
